
Biography
Lori started her musical journey on the organ, at the age of 5, in the suburbs of Chicago. She won her first state competition at the age of 6 and at the age of 16 was the youngest organist to win the grand championship of the I.A.B.A. At the age of 8 Lori started her formal piano training and continued her classical musical education, in organ and piano, throughout her high school and college years finishing with a Bachelors Degree from DePaul University.
Her virtuosity on the piano has led her to national and international championships throughout her musical career from an early age.Through her brilliant performances and extensive knowledge of classical music, Lori's repuation has earned honors from exclusive musical organizations such as the American College of Musicians, National Honor Roll of Guild Teachers and the American Guild of Music. At the age of 16, she was honored in "American Who's Who of High School Students" for music performance in organ, piano and band.
Lori is a successful owner of a musical studio established in 1994 in the Chicago area. Her studio, The Keyboard Touch has allowed Lori to share her passion for music and music education with her students who have gone on to perform internationally and have won countless competitions.
She is currently the backup organist for the Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey team, The Bolts, and is also a church organist at the First United Methodist Church in Florida.
Lori has been a concert artist and product specialist with Lowrey, she also has the privilege to be the musical educational developer for the industry leading Lowrey Magic Course.
Lori is currently writing a music program for the Yamaha Clavinova series of instruments for adults in addition to expanding her published piano program for children ages three through twelve.
