Fall Organ Fun with Lori Graves!
Hi everyone!
For most of the country the air is getting crisp, the smell of apples, cider and pumpkin spice is lingering in the air and the anticipation of the holidays is upon us. On the other hand, Florida is still in summer mode, but that doesn't stop me from thinking about the holidays.
First of all is a reminder of the Halloween CD for sale in the shop section of www.lorigraves.com. To be truthful I had the most fun with this CD as Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I enjoyed selecting the songs as much as playing them.
Second, I have been hard at work at writing an Adult Piano Education program based on the Yamaha Clavinova instruments for a dealer. This program teachers Adults how to play and have fun doing it!. The music is more up to date than the Lowrey Magic program that I worked on and is a lot of fun working on it. Most of the music is from the 1960's - 1980's with some current music splashed in.
Haven't had much time as I want to practice, but have been working on a piece for a bit that I want to get out for the holiday's. No, it's not a holiday song and I know my friends across the pond, along with some tea drinkers here in the states will enjoy!
I have had time to bring back a project that has been put on the back shelf for too long.
Pedal Magic Volume 2 will be coming out before the end of the year. I have had so many requests from people that I thought that it was about time to resurrect the book. In it I will be showing alternating bass, some latin styles, walking pedals and even a beginner boogie bass.
Until my next blog, happy playing!
